SFPlatform - An online group funding and pledging on the project site

SFPlatform is the first complete crowdfunding software that helps you to your run own crowdfunding site with projects and idea features. Compared to Kickstarter, SFPlatform has lot of additional features and superior UI. Revenue Model

  • Your crowd funding website makes money through following three different ways,
    1. Set up signup fee for your site. People pay fees to register with your website.
    2. Set up project listing fee for your site. People pay fee for project listing who are wishing to open their project in your website.
    3. Set up commission for each pledge. People pay fee as commission for project pledging who are pledging projects which are open on your website.

Example

  • When user register with your website,the registration fee $10 will be paid from registered user for site owner. This could be changed by admin in settings.
  • Admin can set the commission fee for pledging or funding in settings page. If the admin will set the commission percentage 10% of the project which pledge amount is $200,the commission amount will be $20 to the site.
  • Admin can set the commission fee for project listing in settings page. If the admin will set the commission percentage 10% of the project which needed amount is $200,the commission amount will be $20 to the site.

How it Works?

SFPlatform has lot of features and additional features compared to other crowd funding sites.

  • Implemented Paypal pre-approval payment.Here the pledged amount will only be authorized.It will be captured only when project reached goal amount.
  • Payments are done in real time with PayPal accounts (of backer, project owner and site)
  • No maintenance (withdraw requests & support requests) headaches
  • Ability to set signup fee for site and also admin can set who can pay gateway fee (User (default) or Site)
  • Ability to set listing fee to post a project and also admin can set who can pay gateway fee (Project owner (default) or Site)
  • Ability to set site commission for each pledge and also admin can set who can pay gateway fee (Project Owner (default), Site or Both Project Owner & Site)
  • Site can run with Paypal / wallet option. Admin can set payment gateway in admin payment settings page and if admin gets approval to use wallet in the site, he can enable wallet option.
  • Ability for users to create PayPal account within the site through PayPal API
  • Ability to set our own comment system for project or admin can set any third party API comment code like Facebook, Disqus etc.,
  • 960 Grid System CSS framework integrated in our product. It relieves cross-browser concerns.

FAQ

  • Can I use any payment gateway other than PayPal?
    • Now this software uses Paypal Adaptive / wallet option. You can use other payment also. But you should integrate it and it is also a very simple process.
  • What funding model is used?
    • All or Nothing (AoN) - When the fund-raising period is over, the money is only transferred from contributors to entrepreneur if some specific goal is met. If the goal is not met, then contributions are refunded automatically.
